This comic version of the
fairy tale was written for Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Done in the tradition of the British pantomime,
the play features a man playing the witch, talking animals and lots of audience
participation. In addition to the witch
and two neglected children, it has roles for a troupe of singing and dancing
“glitter box” cats.

Casting Ages 10-22yrs Auditions
_May 22 & 23 6 - 9 pm
Prepare one minute of an upbeat musical theater song, bring sheet music in your key and we will
provide an accompanist. Dress neatly and be prepared to dance (in other words
clothes you can move in and dance/ tennis shoes). We will have a cold reading
for you to perform at auditions.
