Redwood Grove Day Camp
June 17 to August 16, 2013
Enhanced curriculum! Redwood Grove summer campers explore the natural environment through hands-on activities, games, songs, hikes, arts and crafts, and an enthusiastic staff in a beautiful setting. New nature and science units are included each week.
All camps will also explore age-appropriate stewardship concepts and activities with Acterra from seed planting to invasive plant removal. Campers must have a medical release form on file prior to attending camp. All campers will receive an email prior to their first Monday of camp with announcements about what to bring and expect.

Preschool Explorers
3.5- 4 years, 1:6 Staff to camper ratio
9 am- 12 pm Engaging campers curiosity through multi-sensory experiences of games, arts & crafts, songs, and story telling! All campers must be potty trained in order to attend camp. Every Friday, parents are invited to a sing-a-long with their campers under the Redwood Trees at 11:45 am Naturalists
7-8 years, 1:7 Staff to camper ratio
1 pm- 4 pm Campers will develop a love of nature through, awareness of sustainability, and lessons in archery! Counselors In Training
12-15 years
Training Day: Thurs. June 13, 9:30 AM-12 noon 8 CITs per session Teens gain leadership skills while working with recreation staff, Preschool Explorers, and Adventurers. No experience with children is necessary. Redwood Grove Overnights
7-11 years

Adventurers
5-6 years, 1:6 Staff to camper ratio
AM Camp: 9 am- 12 pm, PM Camp: 1 pm- 4 pm Full Day: 9 am - 3 pm Campers develop observation skills using their five senses while discovering the great outdoors! We have three programs serving 5-6 year olds this year [(AM, PM, & full day) and rest assured if your camper attends multiple weeks, our program changes weekly. Every Friday, parents are invited to a sing-a-long with their campers under the Redwood Trees, AM program begins at 11:45 am, PM program begins at 3:45 pm, Full Day program begins at 2:45 pm. 9-11 years, 1:7 Staff to camper ratio
1 pm- 4 pm Reconnect with the outdoors by challenging your understanding of ecology and science through activities under the big trees! Counselors-In-Training Advanced
14-15 years
Training Day: Thurs. June 13, 9:30 AM-12 noon 4 per 2 week session Expanding on CIT Program, particiapnts work with Adventurers, Naturalists & Survivors. Participants must have experience working with children. Trekkers

Friday, pick up Saturday morning July 12, August 9 A one-night overnight at Redwood Grove for teens and their friends! Enjoy doing archery, roasting s'mores and sleeping outside under the redwood trees! Recreation Leader for Redwood Grove
